We discussed what we should have the lead singer and his girlfriend. For the girlfriend we though she would be wearing skinny jeans, plimsoles or high tops, a t shirt and a hoodie. This is what we found in our audience research as that she wore simple clothes and goes with the conventions of costume in indie rock music videos. For the lead singer we said that he should be wearing high tops, skinny jeans, a printed t shirt and a beanie. We chose this as it was one of the responses that we had from our audience research survey. We have not yet discussed the actual costumes for the band members but we said we would go along with the ideas of the lead singers responses.
We have not yet decided a motif that we could use yet but i have some ideas on what we can use. The first one is that we could have the drummer have messages to the audience on his bass drum, this would add humour which is a theme in our music video. Maybe a joke or a rhetorical question on what we think the audience would be saying.
The second is that we have the album title placed around the town or place that we are filming. This could be in the form of leaflets or posters or even QR codes placed in Cambridge in the window of the Coffee and Crepe place. QR codes could also be a way for us to advertise the product and the band in the video but we can also use them in our marketing scheme for the blogs and the CD release.
